Ivory Lounge - Laguna Beach

While they are closed for a few weeks for some rebuilt, they come back when they open for some great Italian cuisine. great owner, large cook, great staff. world class gnocchi and lasagne, with very high quality ingredients. fish specialities were also great. some of the best Italian food we found in the oc. it is a little hard to find in this shopping center on the laguna canyon road next to the sawdust festival grounds. the journey worth it!

Restaurant has recently changed the property and was very underused with 1 inexperienced, forgotten server. new owner was friendly, eating was good.

Ivory is our favorite restaurant in laguna, since it has taken over by Re-Mark, which was also a great place. we eat there at least once a month, if not anymore. unfortunately they sold and there is a new Italian menu. we met the new owner and he is very charming. but the menu and the food could be so much desired. for $28 we have three scallops and a buckling mushroom. both women were hungry after a start of grilled otopus and the scallops. my man had the special short bands that were so dry that they were barely edible. let us hope that this kind of review will correct some of the mistakes and make this a great hunting for the natives. it is a difficult location and with the previous owner and staff. we have never noticed driving the shy to dinner. we hope that we will find this with this new property, as we are happy to support the local location.

The restaurant changed the owners and we were not informed. the food we wanted to eat were not available.
