Another Kind Cafe - Laguna Beach

Drove last Friday and saw the sign that they were open. This place is from the best kept secrets in Laguna Beach, as they have been open for three weeks and I had not heard of them. Anyway, I decided to give it to lunch the next day, Saturday. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I always prophesied every new Vietnamese restaurant by trying for the first time as they should nail it if they even want to open it. I was on the recommendation of the beef version server. For $9.95 it was a little small, or perhaps only looked like that because the bowl was larger and narrower than most traditional Ph-aliphatic bowls I have experienced in the past. At any rate the taste was quite good and overall it was very filled. I'd order it again. Must be back soon and try some of their other dishes that are all under 10 dollars. This is a rarity in the overpriced Laguna beach. Good. Look at her!

OMG! I wanted to try and now that the festival crowds have died, it's the perfect place to dip for a great meal. Delish! I recommend the turmeric and shrimp candies. I can't wait to go back and try more. I look forward to their cooking classes. A new favorite place.

Beautiful restaurant in the beach area of Laguna! Loved the food, some spicy, some great flavors, beautiful refreshing change. The staff was very friendly and great! really enjoyed the evening!

Such a hidden jewel in the Laguna Canyon! Can't wait to come back... The coffee, the food and the smiling faces have upset me for the rest of the weekend! Cars and coffee every 3rd Saturday morning is a MUST.

Had pulled pork over coconut rice with gravy and a fried egg on top, sort of a nice spin on a loco moco. Super tasty! So stoked there's a spot I can walk to from Gooch for a bite!
