The Doggest - Lagos

This hot dog cart offers vegetarian sausage and I so love vegan hot dogs that I thought I would see how different this sausage tasted. Very different, but good. I ordered a vegetarian sausage on a brioche roll with ketchup, mayo and grated potato. My partner ordered his on a baguette with ketchup, mustard and grated potato. The vegetarian sausages are not bad, there are bits of what look like carrots and peas inside and have a light taste, not strong or fake. The roll and toppings help with the blend of all those flavors. The roll was stale bread and disintegrated when I tried to lift it. Got a hot dog without any toppings, had to give it back and grudginly they were added by unfriendly staff. Sausage was not warm but fairly cold. And, the bottom of the box it was in suddenly collapsed and it was a big mess. Recommend to avoid.

The waitress was super friendly and just before each sandwich she sanitizes her hands. I took a brioche bun, with pork sausage, sweet onion, carrot, fries and garlic sauce. Sooooo good that I went to get a 2nd one

There is a great view over the Marina de Lagos, nice homemade cider from blackberry, hotdogs are really taste I have never taste something like that before, fried are like McDonalds, if you like it you will love it!! Such a great meal for me and my girl friend after a boat trip over the caves in Lagos!! in from of this food truck there is a Fresh Donut, @OlhaaBolinha simply the BEST I have ever taste it!!! Must try place in Lagos. ENJOY!!!
