Millennium Jardim - Lagos

Please avoid this place. Went for dinner as seemed busy and a bit annoyed with myself as usually check reviews but did not! Firstly don't accept bread and butter and pate if you don't want to be ripped off. Charged for bread 1.50 pp butter 1.80 and one little bit of pate 1.20. so for 6 of us 12 euros for a couple of slices of cheap bread and butter. Food ok not as good as elsewhere. The thing that really annoyed me is when we got bill they had charged 3.90 euros for an iced tea that i had never paid more than 2 to 3 euros for elsewhere! I told them that it is disgusting and ripping people off to which I got a shrug of the shoulders. Please avoid because we did not come across any others like this in 2 weeks in Spain and Portugal.

I unfortunately walked in then realized the name of the restaurant. The looks can truly throw you off. I saw a large amount of folks and place looked popular. Failed to see the reviews. The shrimp plate was actually not bad, but everything else went down hill quickly. My sea bass was cold and lacked taste except for some salt. Left half the meal on the plate. Tye ovtopus was also tasteless. My wife’s simple “exodus” salad had a mayonnaise based dressing that was not good. Let me mention my son’s simple pizza. It was a slice of bread dry with nothing as far as flavor. So listen to the reviews and avoid this place. Worst meal of our trip in Portugal.

Nice location in the old town but food somewhere between poor and average. Basically they need a chef that can cook. Lowlights include: Salad comprising 80% lettuce Handful of prawns sliced in half to make it look like there are twice as many Spaghetti overcooked (how hard can it be) Carbonara served with no offer of parmesan or ground black pepper.

Un très bon restaurant, je recommande des salades pour leur fraîcheur, leur pizza et leurs desserts. service rapide, prix corrects.
