Dom Henrique - Lagos

Came twice last year so booked before leaving the Uk! really great meal I had Sea Bass my sister had filet steak which was perfect. Wine was lovely all in all great value for money.

Such a great experience we went back 4 days later. The whole experience is fantastic. The waiters are so attentive. The food is fabulous and the restaurant just has class written all over it. Absolutely the place to go however you will probably need to book. We emailed from the UK the week before we left for Portugal.

D Henrique is perhaps the poshest restaurant on Rua 25 de Abril, or restaurant-street as I call it, in the middle of the town. Inside it’s a lovely venue but even outside the service shows they want to set a high standard. We have eaten here before and were not disappointed. Good food, attentive service, nice ambiance, what is not to like? It’s not so cheap as other places nearby but then quality never was. Give it a try.

We were able to enjoy a delicious lunch today in this amazing restaurant. Personally greeted by Antonio, the owner, this restaurant is charmingly filled to the brim with wine bottles from various regions of Portugal. I chose the squid, whilst my husband chose the chicken dish. Both came with a side of vegetables the green beans were the stars, and I could have eaten a whole plate of them. We chose red wine, a tasty wine from the Douro Valley. We finished our meal with two galao and the apple in Port wine dessert. It's not inexpensive, but I will always choose quality over quantity. Well worth it.

Delicate food and decoration. tried lamb chok and it's really nice! the staff are professional and kind.
