Brisa Do Mar - Lagoa

Tiny restaurant with patio views of the beach below. We were excited to randomly choose this place. The fish soup was out of this world. Really delightful place!

Tony use to have a smaller restaurant near intermarche. We tracked him down to Benajil. We eat there at least four times in a week. Do visit.

Friends, who are regulars, took us for our first visit. What a lovely evening. We shared 2 starters of Prawns and Chorizo. Then 3 had the Sea Bream with the other having Piri Prawns. Wine was excellent value so a very nice evening. Quaint but basic in an out of the way location. Go and try.

Our week in the Algarve got off to a perfect start with a wonderful lunch at this delightful restaurant hidden away in the village up the hill from the bay. Excellent codfish cataplana, and the starters and desserts were very good, too. The house white wine was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. Attentive owner, who had plenty of people to cater for, but managed very well.

Lovely reasonably priced local restaurant with good home cooked food and a welcoming, English speaking host. Good selection of fresh fish daily as well as specials which change from day to day.m
