Chef made us an excellent vegetarian dish delicately spiced

We have been here twice visits separated by 2 years and the food on both occasions was excellent. If you sit outside then be warned you will be in a narrow side street but there is no traffic. It’s not a scenic setting but it is unusual and doesn’t detract from the dining experience. It’s a 6 Euro Uber ride from Carvoeiro. Try it I don’t think you will be disappointed. Lovely location (little authentic alleyway, tucked away)...but really slow and empty and worst of all, food poor like the food you would cook yourself at home. Shame because lovely family style restaurant and they are trying hard and nice folk..

Rather out of the way (behind the municipal market in Lagoa) certainly worth tracking down. Lunch is especially good value with 3 courses, a glass of wine/beer coffee all for under 10€. Have also eaten there in the evening and the food is excellent. It is family run and everyone working there is friendly and helpful.
