Tokyo Japanese Steak House - Lafayette

I Arrived at 9:40pm alone (they close at 10:30pm) the host was not friendly, was a bit bothered that I arrived during almost closing hours. I did not feel welcomed. Everyone was cleaning breaking down food prep stations. So no one was happy I walked in. My waitress was nice friendly. I wanted to dine in but the energy was inviting. I used to love this place growing up, but this is my last visit.

Went for my husbands birthday and we had a great time and the food was delicious

Ordered off their app on Christmas Day. It took them over an hour to even start cooking and an hour and a half for the order to be ready. And the pricing was outrageous.

Let me start by saying it's a nice place. When we got the there the bartender took forever to greet and take our order. She was a little rude babe because they had a lot going on. Still it was very uncalled for. The waiter was a little snappy as well,. Once again maybe it was because she was a little overwhelmed, but still it's no excuse. I really like this place, I love the house soup! So much flavor in such a delicate little dish. I also enjoyed my steak bento box. The fried veggies are great and the steak was tender and juicy. The rice and noodles were delicious and I also loved the little dumpling and sushi samples. Pretty good value also. Will be coming back for sure
