The Vermilionville - Lafayette

Fantastic lunch special! I began with a tasty gumbo, followed by some amazing chili, cornbread, and sweet corn. I finished it all off with some outstanding bread pudding!

We ordered the lunch special and were not disappointed! From the pork chop to the biscuit to the bread pudding, everything was absolutely delicious!

My wife and I both enjoyed the special lunch, which included a bowl with a rubber-like texture and duck. Today’s duck dish featured pork served over rice, accompanied by a side of corn that was freshly cut from the cob and lightly sugared. We also received a biscuit and dessert. My wife chose the vegetable chocolate cheesecake, which was delicious and rich, while I enjoyed the apple cobbler, which was quite tasty as well. Beverages were included in the affordable price of $10.95, and we both had iced tea. If you're visiting Vermilionville, I highly recommend dining at this restaurant.

The food, the view and the staff were amazing. My friend has several Cajun classics to try by ordering cup size portions.

So good! Had a salad with hamburger steak peas and mashed potatoes. Yummy
