Revolution Barbeque - Lafayette

First time eating here. The young lady that took my order was so sweet. I ordered two tacos and they were so delicious. The atmosphere gave a chill cafe vibe and I really enjoyed my experience!

This is a very hard review to give. I found the food is good and the staff extraordinary nice, helpful and kind. So I wish I could give a 5 star review, but I can't because the restaurant is genuinely painfully loud.A group of 5 of us went tonight. The portions were generous, the food was good (big fan of the ribs), and the staff, especially the owner, was so nice. But my God the noise. The walls are bare brick and rooms fairly narrow. So the noise is just amplified.When we arrived at 5:20pm, it was us, a party of 6, and another party of 2. We were 15 feet from the other groups and it was very difficult to hear the people in our group talking to us from across a 3 foot table. It wasn't long before everyone was leaning in and raising our voices to be heard.Then the dinner rush started at 6pm and the noise became honestly painful. I noticed that our group was raising their voices to just short of shouting to be heard.I'm writing this at 1030pm, 5 hours after we ate there, and my ears are still ringing.Please please please install some sort of sound dampening on the walls. Your food is great, your staff amazing, but the atmosphere really is physically painful to be in.Kid-friendliness: Do not bring children here. It is too loud for them.

I had the pleasure of dining at Revolution BBQ and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The food was nothing short of amazing, with the flavors of their BBQ dishes leaving a lasting impression. From tender ribs to mouthwatering brisket, every bite was a delight. The server's warm and friendly demeanor enhanced the overall atmosphere, making the meal even more enjoyable. Revolution BBQ is a must-visit for BBQ enthusiasts, and I can't wait to return for another incredible meal.

The food here was really good. I got the Brisket and it was awesome, my Mac cheese didn’t have the consistency that I like but it tasted fine. The cornbread was also very good. The coleslaw was good as well.The atmosphere was very chill. We went during the off season I assume so it wasn’t very busy.

I’ve been going to this restaurant since it opened. Food always amazing and fresh, real local BBQ, great cocktail bar. However, the new changes to the restaurant threw me off. You order at the counter, food gets brought to you but there’s an added plate clearing station as of the last time I went in. ?The staff working there now is great and always friendly but lately look like they don’t want to be there. I used to like revolution a lot more but feel like the food and overall environment is declining.
