Mel's Diner - Lafayette

We visited Mel’s on a Sunday evening. We have a place to sit almost immediately. The decor and the ambience were very beautiful. The staff was okay. Our server probably had a hard day and was a bit gone. We ordered the Hamburger Steak and the Chicken Steak. Steak was well done, and it was standard. It was delicious and the sauce was creamy. The potato was good. The chicken, on the other hand, tasted a small gland and it was not too delicious. The fries needed something to season. I liked the quirky writings about the counters, and the lighting was also in line with the whole theme of the restaurant. Many people complained about the laundry room, so I had no chance. Overall, I had a good experience. Cheers!

Go for the third time and great service and food every time. In the middle of the night after Christmas shopping, went for lunch with staff and for dinner with the man. Excellent service and every time good. Had onion rings last visit and OMG were the best.

It was on Sunday before Christmas. Breakfast was good. Her Hollandaise sauce was too thick and too much on the plate, but unlike it was good. Great service and beautiful atmosphere.

Delicious. Burger, nachos, breakfast, everything on the menu is great. One of the best restaurants in ol' Laffy.

Da Diner. Try the Chicken Fried Steak. Just around the only place in town that has it. It's good too.
