Ihop - Lafayette

My most recent visit was on a Wednesday, and it was similar to my first experience, but the quality of the food was noticeably lacking. The fourth visit is the reason for this review. Although I haven’t been served yet, I arrived first. A Hispanic couple came in after me and sat to my left, followed by a trio who stood in the middle of the waiting area. They were all seated before me, despite my waiting half an hour. The waiting area is cramped and not very pleasant. Unfortunately, this place has been a hit-or-miss experience for me—50% of the time, it’s been bad. My advice is to avoid it during busy hours and try to go when it's nearly empty, as that seems to be the only time you can get in without hassle.

I had a cold brew coffee, which was served black with just a splash of cream. It was surprisingly large and incredibly delicious, so I decided to grab one for the road as well. For those looking for vegetarian options, the black coffee is perfect for vegans, vegetarians, and anyone else.

My friends and I have been visiting this restaurant for dinner every few weeks, and we absolutely love it! The waitresses are fantastic, and we always enjoy sitting with them. The food is consistently hot and accurate, and we’ve never been disappointed when dining here.

I've been here several times, both for dine in and carry out. I don't know why I keep doing it though. The food is fine, but the service is lacking. Last visit I went in for pick up and had to wait fifteen minutes for someone to come to the counter and hand me my food that was clearly ready the entire time.
