El Pollo Loco - Lafayette

Look forward to my trip from Ohio to visit and stop the family here. Use to leave glowing review, but that was terrible. The chicken was so dry, evil! What happened to moisture and taste? The rice was dry, almost hard and it was only 11:30. Also the tea and salsa bar is gone. I spent over 42.00 and very bitter. It won't fly long.

This location of El Pollo is the worst I've experienced. The chicken always tastes like it was prepared too early, resulting in it being dry no matter when you visit. The food is far from fresh... overall, it's disappointing.

Well they have a $5 menu which is pretty damn reasonable considering it's a fast food joint. I want to admit that the chicken was a little Bland but there's so many different types of salsa and everything to Spruce it up a little bit. My favorite was the $5 chicken nachos came with a drink all that and a bag of chips.

Juan V provided outstanding service, and I was really impressed. The food was excellent, and it's been a long time since I last visited El Pollo Loco. The chicken was tender and delicious, and the shrimp Baja taco was fantastic. The corn tortillas were fresh and tasted great. The beans and rice were also very tasty. Overall, I had a wonderful experience!

Got it back with a delivery app for a while and the tacos were a bit soggy one without sauce, but delicious. Try it again and picked it up so much taste that cooked to perfection chicken?! I got the tostada and it was super both times (either sauce is great). I enjoyed the food and the kindness of the staff. Thank you for all your good work and chicken!
