Acadian Superette - Lafayette

We ordered the BBQ plate and the brisket sandwich, and they were the best BBQ I've had in quite some time. The homemade fries are fantastic—definitely pair them with the rette sauce. The service was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. Inside, the ambiance reflects the charm of a neighborhood grocery store. The back patio has great potential to attract a larger crowd, so I hope they will extend their hours in the future. I will definitely be returning!

I was in town for a training session and saw this restaurant featured on the news. I decided to stop by for lunch, and I'm so glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious. I even picked up some boudin to take home, which my husband loved. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Lafayette.

I haven't tried anything at this restaurant that I regret even a little. The barbecue is excellent, and the Reuben sandwich is one of the best I've ever had. The Don burger perfectly satisfies my burger cravings. Plus, the fries are fresh and remind me of the homemade fries my dad used to make—just a bit crispier... sorry, Dad! Be sure to make a stop here!

Went last week for lunch called a few times to check out the daily specials, but nobody answered. When I got there, there were no plate lunches available even tho it was only 12:30 pm. So I ordered a brisket sandwich off the menu and it was very tasty but quite small for $12.

Cliché ' I have NEVER. EVER. Had a Reuben this good. I 'd like to consider myself a Reuben connoisseur and this Reuben here, lord have mercy. It melts in your mouth, it 's so juicy, the flavors that burst w/ each bite are unexplainable. Some might call, a magical experience! The staff were delightful! The place looked good. The drinks were ice cold the food was blow off before taking a bite fresh!!! The moment they reopen we will be back!
