Sand Dunes Chaolao Beach Resort

Nice hotel, nice staff, small cozy rooms with good linen and amenities. Restaurant Shore is a nice place to spend the evening. Staff very polite.

The beach of the hotel is clean, the water is clear, the waves are not very strong, suitable for children to play in the sand and play in the waves. There are no sharp shells that cut your feet. sea water does not itch The hotel pool is next to the beach. There is a shallow water section for young children. There is a fountain for children to play. Swim in the water while watching the sea view, sunset. The rooms are normal, acceptable, not new, not old. Towels, robes feel not as clean as they should be. The reception staff and security staff look enthusiastic. If coming to this zone, it is recommended to come and stay. The breakfast is good, there are many to choose from. The kid club is too small, for 2 children to play, it seems to be full.

Very nice and beaitiful resort! The resort has a nice view to see the sea, swimming pool, bar, so on.... The staff are friendly and helpful!

Sand Dunes Claims to be 4 but presently would be hard pushed to make a 3 rating. A total concrete monstrosity, outdated and tired from wear tear. Car parking if you’re lucky 5 minutes walking from your room.All amenities are at considerable distance. Room is basic and the water was never hot. Restaurant was probably my worst experience of 10 years in Thailand. Even my wife who never complains returned her meal because it was in edible. Breakfast similarly horrific. Your only given spoon and fork on entry the breakfast room. It appears that this joint is largely used for seminars and for Thais only. But how they dear charge 4500 Baht night is difficult to understand, when our previous hotel accommodation for 1200 Baht was infinitely better.

Nice and relaxing resort hotel by the beach. Great facilities with variety of activities especially for the family with kids. Swimming pool are great, warm water and fun for family especially for the children. Kids club is nice add-on. Good restaurant, superb breakfast buffet. Room condition could have been a tad bit better and the whole experience would be perfect!
