Sushi Wara - Ladysmith

I decided to join my girlfriend in this small town while she's here for work. After a nearly 5-hour journey, we were famished.

After seeing all the great reviews, my friends and I, who aren't sailors, decided to stop by for lunch.

The food at this restaurant is fresh and well-presented, but the rolls are lacking in craftsmanship.

I didn't care for the sushi. It was sloppy (poorly rolled and too much sauce). There was not much fish in the roll and it didn't taste that fresh. I'm not sure if they offer any alternatives to farmed Atlantic salmon.

My wife and I popped in quickly for lunch today. They allowed our dog on the patio which was nice as we won't leave her in the car on hot days. The bento boxes were great value, the food was great and the food was delivered quite quickly. Will continue to return.
