Phoenix Food Delivery - Ladysmith

I recently ordered from The Phoenix and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious Chinese cuisine. I highly recommend them without any hesitation. If you find yourself in the Ladysmith area, make sure to visit The Phoenix. The food is sure to exceed your expectations. Additionally, they don't use MSG and the food arrived piping hot. Leftovers were just as satisfying the next day.

My husband and I have always loved The Phoenix for chinese food have been going there for many years. They don't deliver (to our area, anyway), but it's always worth the 10 minute drive to eat in, or take out. Family run, excellent service, and really good Chinese!

Our family have enjoyed this restaurant since Richard Michelle converted the old bowlling alley into the Phoenix. The Rotary club of Ladysmith meet here for supper on Thursdays at 6:15. Besides the smorg they offer a great menu!

The staff at this restaurant are very friendly and helpful, making it easy to place an order over the phone. The building used to be a bowling alley, and it has a retro 1970s vibe to it. The food was served hot and at a reasonable price compared to other options in the area. I picked up my takeout order on a Friday night at the end of the year. While some dishes were delicious, others were not as well-received at my table. The highlights were the Sweet and Sour Pork and Vegetable Lo Mein. The Sweet and Sour Pork was especially tasty, and the Vegetable Lo Mein was almost perfect, though it could have used a bit more toasted sesame oil. The Szechuan Prawns and Hot and Sour Soup were decent but not outstanding. The Ginger Beef was the least popular dish, as it was overcooked and had a heavy coating of cornstarch. Overall, I would give this restaurant 3 stars, but if I could, I would rate it 3.5 stars. I would consider eating here again, but I would keep my expectations moderate.

My family and I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years, whenever we visit our relatives in Ladysmith. The owners are so friendly and hard working and you can taste it in the delicious food they make. Best Chinese food on the island
