Longhorn Steakhouse - Lady Lake

My husband and I went to longhorn restaurant in Lady lake Florida last week to celebrate... Unfortunately, it was a bad experience to begin with... We were seated in the bar and when the bartender/server came up to wait on us she evidently had taken a bath in her perfume... It was so bad I immediately got a nauseous headache... Even my husband, who never complains, said he was overwhelmed with the perfume smell... We asked to be moved and I think it irritated her but that was too bad because I was ready to leave.. The new waitress we got was very good, she knew her job and when we asked to see a manager she immediately went and got him... We told the manager why we had asked to be moved and he said it was against their policy to wear strong perfume like that and that she had been warned about it in the past.. My question is, if she has been warned about it why is she still there if she's breaking the policy... Longhorn has always been our favorite restaurant for a steak and this was a most unpleasant experience and we will not go back to that longhorn...

Parking was easy. Our server was Theresa and she was great. Pleasant and attentive. Everything we ordered was correctly cooked and delivered. The food was very good. We had 2 small soups (1 French onion, 1 potato soup), Outlaws Ribeye, ChickenTenders, 2 baked, loaded potatoes, Brussel Sprouts and bread. Lunch was $57 plus tip.

Everything was completely fine. The servers were running their buttons off. It was not speedy service, but it wasn't from a lack of trying it was likely the lack of staff. They did well though

Our server whose name I cannot remember, but she talked to us about her being from Kentucky, was phenomenal!! Very attentive and patient with us as we were talking and not in a hurry to eat. Will definitely recommend her as a server any day!

Very good today. Maddie was our bartender and she was great. Good time food and drinks.
