Once again in a perfect location, the restaurant offers a wide choice of foods and drinks, served by knowledgeable staff in a very welcoming dining area. The available dishes are more in line with conventional French cooking but that does not detract from the quality of food provided and the availability of a decent selection of wines to accompany the food. Once again a welcoming establishment which provides good value for money in all areas.
Good local address near Toulouse chic coteaux suburbs. Had the lamb, and the fish brochettas, both good. Local wine Fronton recommended. Nice service. Typical local and French food.
We had a great meal of French cuisine with great service. The food was very tasty. The only slightly negative thing was that the size of the portions was not not balanced. A starter was the size of a main course and a main course was the size of a starter.
The appetizers (carpaccio de boeuf for me and de thon for my wife) were extraordinary. My brochette de magret main was slightly chewy. My wife's bar was excellent, however. Very agreeable ambiance and service.
We were staying nearby and our hotel referred us to this restaurant. While I would not drive great distances for their food, it is a great place to eat if you are in the area. Our French is practically non existent and the staff was very patient with us. The menu is only in French and the names of many of the items can be mysterious even if you know some French. I highly recommend the goat cheese salad and the grilled squid salad is also very nice. We also tried two of the fish dishes as a main course a whole fish and a white fish on a skewer, both of which were tasty and well presented. We were not thrilled with the profiteroles for dessert we expected them to be filled with cream, but they were filled with ice cream instead. With our limited French, we probably missed that detail on the menu. The Gran Marnier soufflé at a neighboring table looked enticing so maybe that is a better choice. Excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. The terrace area has a lovely informal feel to it, while the dining room has more formal decor. Dinner for two can run to about 120 euros or more.
