Cafe de France - Lacoste

Lacoste is a village on the must list when in the Luberon. It has connections to Pierre Cardin as you expect and the best restaurant is Cafe De France. The look is to die as it is the excellent food. I chose salad...Perigodine, who is my favorite and duck carpaccio with gesiers. The whole ambience is great with the luberon as a background you can enjoy the beautiful dishes and chat to other diners. We met with a few Aussies and could share some stories with them. This is a must to visit venue in the area.

9/10! the views are simply stunning (and we noticed a lack of bugs compared to elsewhere on our travel.) eating is really good, the salads are mainly beautiful and all the portions were generous. prices reasonable not a bargain, but rather quite.... atmosphere is more informal in the grunde a really nice place to spend a few hours and oh the intention! (otherwise, booking in busy nights would recommend if they want to eat about 8 o'clock, also helps to get one of the better tables.) but even if no booking, it is worth trying because they have a few ersatztisches the most time we were.

Wonderful outdoor dining experience. Excellent salads, fish, and even omelettes! Wait staff super friendly and attentive.
