Water Street Cafe - Laconia

The food at this café is homemade and truly delicious. You can clearly taste the difference between a meal made with care—like the ones here—and the standard offerings from larger chains. Our waitress, Paula, was exceptional; she was attentive and very pleasant. My husband and I would certainly return for breakfast at Waterway Café for an amazing meal at a great price if it weren't a 5-hour drive from our home. A big thank you to Paula and the entire team at Water Street Café for a fantastic dining experience!

We absolutely loved it—calling it an understatement! The eggs Benedict were fantastic, the crushed potatoes were delicious, and all three of us enjoyed the best cocktails we've ever had! The Bloody Mary was especially amazing! This was our first visit to the café, and it definitely won't be our last. Really the best breakfast, created by a brilliant cook and served by welcoming and beautiful waitresses. I come back every morning and for years has never been less than amazed by their consistently delicious meals and relaxing atmosphere. Good work for everyone working there!

Had some Refreshing choices on the menu such as scalloped potatoes oatmeal molasses toast. Not the same old carbon copy breakfast menu that is so typical. Everything had Fresh tasting homemade flavor. The florentine omelette was one of the best I have had recently. The cook knows what he/she is doing.
