Tamarack - Laconia

I visited for my first lobster roll of the 2022 season. The roll was wonderfully buttered and toasted, and the amount of lobster was just right for the price. I'm definitely looking forward to stopping by again to sample more options!

The seafood here is absolutely amazing, but be prepared for a long wait! It took 25 minutes just to get a lobster roll. If you’re planning to get takeout, I recommend calling in your order and then arriving to pick it up about half an hour later. The food definitely deserves a 5-star rating!

I was not impressed. The lobster roll contained only small bits of lobster, and the Buffalo sauce was drenched all over everything on my plate, including the French fries—there was just too much of it. I couldn't finish the meal... it was just okay. This was our first visit, and it might be our last.

I've been here multiple times over the years. I probably would have gone 4-5 stars all other times. Not today. Out of clam strips. 10 fried clams for $24.99. Fish and chips way overcooked. Both bathrooms beyond bogus. Onion rings and bottled Mug root beer were good. If not for rings and soda I would've given 1 star. I understand most businesses are shorthanded. I still paid for a good meal and I didnt get it.

Home of the world's famous lobster roll.... I tried it. 23 bucks later I have to say I really didn't care for it. I mean it was okayyy but def don't need to ever buy it again... Everything else there is really good though. Burgers, clam strips, wings, ice cream yummm
