Extreme Pita - Lacombe

Great tasting healthy food, the cost is low and the owners are friendly and always have a smile on their face.

Very clean. Fairly fast service. I like create your own pitas. Still worry about same gloved hands touching raw meat and vegetables. Perhaps should pick up meat with tools. The beef seemed a little raw....needs more time on the grill or turn up the grill.

Very poorly put together...unappetizing manner of scraping a spatula full of hummus on edge of bowl, etc... stirred all other ingredients together before putting in bowl, and topped with a whole 1/2 pita "pressed" down repeatedly on top of all the ingredients in the bowl...Wetaskiwin franchise can show how it's done to the max! Taste couldn't even compete with Wetaskiwin, as well as ingredients not the same...no garlic sauce topping in Lacombe. Inclined not to try Lacombe again.

We've eaten here several times over the years it's been open and have always been happy with food and the service. It changed ownership within the last 2 years but that hasn't affected anything negatively.

Extreme Pita is a chain that has a variety of salads served in a pita bread. I am mainly reviewing this since people may not know it is off the highway and you are looking for some eats. Tasty selections.
