Dolce Bombe - Lackawanna

I was introduced to this fine establishment by an amazing friend and co-worker. Seems I've been missing out in my secluded east end dessert options. You can pre-order or just walk up and pick your poison. Both times I've been, and that was a long 2 weeks inbetween, I've had the Apricot filled bombette. The filling is so generous, no timmys cheap filling here. And if you get them just made and still warm, you may need a moment to recover. This time I brought some home for the family and made a stop on the way home to drop off a six for another amazing friend and their family. I think I've tried them all except for the PB and Chocolate, the bananna and the coffee one and next time I'll try and check those off my list. My only gripe is it's cash only and there is no ATM on site. But now you know so bring cash! Not worth taking a full star off so I'll stick with the 5. Maybe an espresso next time to go with it. I will be a regular customer, and you should be too.

Fresh and made to order donuts! You might want to enjoy one as soon as you get it as they are warm and delicious.

Bombes are FILLED with tons of filling! The dough itself is quite thin and not very doughy like your typical donut almost like a shell that delicately encapsulates the rich filling.

Mauro and staff have perfected the BOMBE and espresso. They have many flavours but NUTELLA is the one and only to get. Made Fresh on the spot and filled fresh. A Bombe is an Italian doughnut taste better. Good Mauro and to the Bombe team....
