Le Pub McVey - Lac-Sainte-Marie

The owners of the pub supported the introduction of a big surprise party to the 60th. My wife's birthday. We brought her favorite singer Jimmy Cochrane, the weather was warm, the beer cold and service of Nat and Chris fantastic. It was a great deal when we filled the deck. Food was great and quickly came out.. Great place to host the event with good friends. Lisa was surprised and we had a great party.

We were on this property for a weekend special and were very disappointed. We all asked how we wanted to cook the meat, and when we served the same hole, there was no similarity to what we had demanded. The corn on the coke that was with the cold. The only saving grace on the plate was the salad. At no time the server came to our table to ask if the meal was satisfactory. The connection of the bad meal was the sound. There is only one partition between the bar and the general restaurant seating area and the sound from the bar area, especially the booming voice of the owner of the property is anything but pleasant. The only saving grace when there is one is the selection of designs of beer.

Came here near the closing time looking out. It turned out that they were open to a private party, but they agreed to take my order. Chicken wings were excellent and the pizza was very good. I appreciated the flexibility of the staff. This is... a charming little pub and considering that there is not much other, they were very cheap.

My husband and I had a great time at the pub Mcvey. We had rented a house nearby for the weekend and were told about the pub. We went there, so could enjoy some pints and some appetizers. The staff was nice... the beer was cold and delicious and the food we tried was great! I would definitely recommend to give it an attempt: we would go back in a heartbeat

Group of 7 bikers from midland, ontario visited August 12th. Great service and amazing food. The band was out of this world and played some great tunes. Definitely will be heading back!!
