Contribuiți la feedbackMarch 2, 3 4th 2023: We rented the suite with kitchenette and fireplace. Not many utensils. Fireplace is electric heater and not the best visual experience. Price: ´ Reasonable. Food: Breakfast buffet was good. Evening 4 course meals at restaurant were very good as was service. Service: Experience with customer service at this auberge was good during our visit Weaknesses: a) Rooms are cozy but a bit aged. We were there 4 days and hallways were not vacuumed. We were advised in advance that room service (cleaning) would not be available. b) Pool is nice but needs a cleaning. No supervision. If you have a family who has noisy kids and does not supervise them in pool area, you might choose to leave area. c) Jacuzzi outside is old and you are on your own to take off lid. Not very good experience in it. d) We we’re in building whereby we had to walk outside about 50 metres-yards away to main reception. Massage and manicure area good experience. Nearby Dunham pub: Good experience going there for meal, drink and nice atmosphere.
Loved our stay here! Didn't have a chance to use the Spa but the restaurant is out of this world!!! Every single dish from beginning to end was delish! Extensive wine list too. The wait staff were wonderful and answered all our questions. We will definitely visit here again in the warmer months! Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 4
We stayed for two nights as a couple and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was peaceful, enhanced by the fresh fragrance of blooming purple trees. The interior spaces, including the pool, sauna, fitness center, and spa, were all beautifully designed and easily accessible. The pool temperature was ideal, and it wasn't overcrowded, which made for a relaxing swim. We also enjoyed a massage, which added to our comfort. Overall, it’s a very relaxing place with a decent on-site restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to our needs. We definitely plan to return. The rooms were very quiet, immaculately clean, and the bed was comfortable.
We had an outstanding dining experience. I had the venison, while my wife chose the rack of lamb, and both dishes were expertly prepared and delicious. They were part of the four-course table d'hôte menu. The first course consisted of bread accompanied by a variety of toppings, including shrimp salad, herbed butter, olive oil with balsamic vinegar, and pickled vegetables. The bottle of wine recommended to us, a Bourgogne, wasn't listed on the menu, but it turned out to be excellent and reasonably priced within the wine selection. It paired beautifully with both dishes. While this meal is not inexpensive, it offers great value given the quality of the food. The night before, we dined in Montréal, spent a bit more, and had a less satisfying experience overall.
The room, gym, saunas, swimming pool, and outdoor spas are nothing short of impeccable—a dream come true! And I haven't even mentioned the quality of the restaurant yet! It boasts one of the most exquisite wine lists, curated by the daughter of one of Quebec's top sommeliers!
