Contribuiți la feedbackI really enjoyed my meal. The food was good, but mostly I was enchanted by the service. I don't speak French and a hard time to explore things, but the fight was definitely worth the reward.
The people who run the hotel and restaurant are generally friendly and hard to work and their heart in the lead. When I read the previous comments that there is only one surprise menu per evening, we called in advance that I am pregnant and cannot eat anything. The woman told us that pregnancy is not a disease and if I can't eat something that is my problem. This is the first time in 7 months of pregnancy that a restaurant serves me food that could possibly be harmful (rawfish, gooseberries, wild meat, dessert with a lot of cherry schnapps etc.), although I even call a week in advance. I think it must do with cultural differences and the older generation of the owner. Fortunately, my husband likes these things so that the food has not gone into the waste (as it was about the New Year and no other restaurants in Labaroche were open we had no alternative). If you are willing to eat something and have no food allergies, religious reasons etc., then I can recommend that this place are large, foods regionally and prices appropriate. Otherwise I'd eat to the patisserie over the street or somewhere else.
Family atmosphere this Saturday night where, a priori, the inhabitants of the village enjoy the dinner....service without reproaches excellent sauerkraut to the 5 meats; dessert strawberry basil was perfect for reasonable wines: easy cut 5 euros a very nice evening for 30 euros per person aperitif, dish, dessert and beer )bravo !
