Contribuiți la feedbackFriday. I was operating with only 4 hours of sleep. I needed something to perk me up. Went to CBTL for my GTL fix. This is the first time I saw the options they have for tea. My gut went with Double Vanilla. This is surprisingly good. The marriage of vanilla and milk is perfect, smooth and creamy. I can't barely taste the tea though but I'm totally okay with it. This is the kind of drink that would calm the nerves, not scientifically proven but that's how I felt after my first sip.
Good job for the service and the smiling crew. Once u enter, you will be lead to your table, will be given the menu and collect your payment at the table after your stay. I got the triple decker cheesecake. I was craving for a stronger taste for the cheese, so I should've tried the Blueberry instead. When I came here at around 4pm the chattering is loud but when I came back after dinner, everything's calm.
26th St. Bistro by CBTL is their form of cafe/restaurant in BGC. Being familiar with the brand makes you confident that anything that you order would be good. I ordered a smoked salmon roestii. It is basically a potato pancake like a hashbrown topped with smoked salmon and creme fraiche. When the order arrived, the roestii was huge! As in it covered the whole plate, unfortunately the salmon was a single slice that was torn to 4-5 pcs. It wasn 't even enough to finish the whole roestii... The roestii on the other hand was loose! It was like fried angel hair pasta of potato. The flavor was bland and plain. It was a failure. It wasn 't worth 365/385 for a piece of potato, a slice of smoked salmon, and an egg. The Beef Tapa on the other hand was way much better. The beef was tender and flavorful, the atsara was presented as a jelly on the side. 26th st. bistro positioned themselves as a 'bistro ' and labeled it with CBTL. I and other people is expecting the quality of food would be at par with CBTL or even higher, because its a bistro already. #TheFoodCrawlers #OngsFoodprints
This shot was taken on a Friday night (yes, i'm one of those titas daintily sipping coffee on a raging Friday night). Take note, this is usually brimming with people on other days. So drop by if you want a quiet Friday you introvert/ workaholic/ tito and tita. Expect to pay a bit higher for the service fee as this is not a typical CBTL branch. But as always, CBTL never disappoints with its offerings. I've always said that CBTL has a good menu that allows you to stay the whole day whether you're looking for a strong tea to tide you over the night, a hefty lunch meal or a slice of cake to satisfy your cravings. Okay, I feel like an ad for CBTL but if you ask me, I've never been to one that disappoints.
26th St. Bistro Coffee Bean is a great place to hold business meetings over coffee, meet with a friend, or just to be there and have your very own me time . What makes this place different from the regular Coffee Bean are the following: AMBIANCE, FEEL, and LOCATION. This branch is sort of a flagship coffee store. Service is more specialized such that you don 't have to order at the counter if you 're going to dine in. They have warm lights, high ceilings, and the tables and chairs are also different from the other Coffee Bean branches. This store is situated strategically, that it is near offices which makes it a great place to hold meetings or small talks over coffee. The place makes you want to stay for a long time. Fact : Coffee Bean Bistro doesn 't have sockets for you to have your gadgets plugged. So if you 're going to bring laptops, make sure it is fully charged! FOOD and COFFEE. They only offer one size for the drinks, which is the largest size. Food is really great, they have a variety of choices of food, from breakfast to dessert. I am recommending this place! A must visit coffeebean store :
