Bar Restaurante Diego - la Vila Joiosa

Agradable sorpresa! Un menú del día con una inmejorable calidad precio, mucho mejor que cualquier sitio de la playa. Comer aquí de menú es acierto seguro.

Visitando la ciudad con unos amigos, después de visitar la zona de la playa, buscamos un lugar para comer, encontramos este restaurante que contaba con mesas y sillas en el exterior. Cuenta con menú diario a buen precio, dos platos, bebida y postre o café. En este caso no hice fotos al ir con parejas de amigos.

Bar familiar de barrio. Trato amable. Comida casera y muy rica: ensalada primero segundo postre (entra bebida) 10,50 €. Relación calidad-precio y cantidad, muy barato. Servicio rápido. Muy recomendable.

This has been my first year trying out Diego’s under the new management. The host was outside with a welcoming smile each time and did his best to explain the menu including any changes etc. They could do with improving their wine selection (the Rose wine was not very good and there was only one, no choice), but the food was nice and I understand from others it had vastly improved from when they first opened.

Friendly staff, very well prepared medium pork steak (enterecot a la piedra) and great baked cod! However, pepper sauce served with the steak could be more flavored and they didn't have one meal and one sauce from the menu. We got a wine spirit in the end. Despite the drawbacks mentioned above we would definitely come back!
