I went to this restaurant with a friend on Saturday at 6:00. It wasn't crowded. We ordered tea, but it was old. The server replaced it with a fresh one.

This restaurant is truly a beautiful place, offering an incredible atmosphere both indoors and outdoors. There's something to enjoy for everyone: a cozy private corner featuring one of the largest outdoor fireplaces I've ever seen, an adult area complete with a full bar and a variety of drinks, and an indoor space with TVs for watching games. The food is fantastic, and dining outside while listening to live music from big bands—especially Texas Two Lane (I may be a bit biased since my husband plays in the band!)—is a joy. It's wonderful to see people of all ages enjoying themselves on the dance floor. The Den stands out as the perfect spot for families, friends, and special events, making it a must-visit for anyone passing through San Antonio.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. I ordered the chicken fried steak, curly fries, and jalapeño mac and cheese. The steak and fries were both delicious. However, the jalapeño mac and cheese was a letdown, as it was just topped with raw paprika. My husband had the catfish, fries, and green beans, and he absolutely loved it. We will definitely be back!
