L'amandine - La Tranche-sur-Mer

Both the main food and the desserts were really great here, but it is abandoned by the service that is incredibly slow. Very difficult to get the attention of Waitress, she did everything she could to avoid eye contact! If you come here, be patient and not in a hurdle to come somewhere later. Too bad we also noticed a lot of 'rolling eyes' and looking from the waitress for customers would ask for things.

We enjoyed our morning coffee visits to L'amandine immens. Letitia was extremely attentive, efficient and had a happy reception every morning and remembered our order preferences. It is certainly a great advantage for the device. The outdoor seating area in the garden... is charming with cover for shade, if necessary. There was a wide selection of breads and cakes in the bakery, a beautiful place around and I would certainly recommend a visit.

We have visited L'amandine regularly for many summers, it is always a pleasant place to eat, we have used it for breakfast lunch and dinner, the food was always excellent, the Bolognaise Pizza is amazing. Read some reviews about Trip Advisor I... see some comments about poor or rude service, we speak very little French, but have always found the staff to be very helpful and charming.

I have been visiting l'amandine whilst on holiday for a couple of years now, and have seen it develop from a comfy little bar / cafe into the trendy bar cafe it is now.When I originally started to visit for my daily breakfast the staff were friendly and attentive, the breakfast pastries were served in delightfully rustic wicker baskets with serviette sand the coffee was lovely.We didn't visit la tranche last year, but have returned this year, and the changes to my favourite cafe are not for the better in my opinion.I visited the cafe with my husband for breakfast this morning and we were quite disappointed. The coffee wasn't up to scratch, and my husbands croissants were plonked directly onto the table, with no plate or serviette. The pastries remain tasty, but the service left a lot to be desired.Also, personally, the music was a bit much for breakfast time, we'd prefer breakfast served with peace and quiet.
