Vera Spezia - LA SPEZIA

During our stay in La Spezia we ate here twice. The pizza and farinata (local chickpea pancake are delicious. The locals don't mind waiting for the farinata, there was a long queue especially for this dish when we had our pizza. If you don't want pizza, you can also choose from various other dishes like meat, lasagne, chicken, vegetables or baked potatoes. Don't expect a fancy restaurant, do expect delicious food and a quick meal. Also possible to take your meal home. Really nice (English speaking owner and staff. Molto bene :

Really a great place to experience Itilian home cooking. Chicken and Vegetables (carrots were to die for) made by the GrandMa. Pizza is delicious. I tried the lasagna, green beans, fish...all were great!!! Great conservation with Max sharing his love for good all over Italy I am thinking on going back tomorrow

I highly recommend this place. the service was excellent and incredible value for money.

Ottimi piatti di pesce e ambiente famigliare e accogliente. Alcuni aspetti da migliorare, quali per esempio la temperatura dei piatti e i dolci non eccezionali. Per il resto tutto ok.
