Contribuiți la feedbackI had a 3 weeks holiday around Italy and this restaurant was defenetly the best place I ate during this period. Great local ingredients and cusine, with a very attentive and funny owner. Is not easy to find the restaurant, but is a must stop for seafood lovers
Mid of June we were the only guest for lunch on a Saturday, so it was lacking in atmosphere. It took some time to find a parking place, the restaurant is right at the street (at Arsenale Militare), tables only inside, nice Trattoria rooms. The food was a good home style cooking, each pasta with 12€ is a bit high. You pay the Slow Food reference (price list in my pictures). They have a good wine selection.
Amazing antipasti , it is a must have if you arrive. The vibes are immaculate, arriving at this local home-owned osteria. We had a nice bottle of wine. Panna cotta was simply refreshing.
Local cuisine in a warm environment. The food was good, with several plates that are not so common to find. The deserts and the bread were a pleasant surprise. PS. If you come by car you may have a hard time finding a parking place.
A short menu(good thing) that we assume changes depending on ingredients. Seafood focused, he had the nettle tagliatelle with shrimp and tomato, I had the trofie Al pesto (as a vegetarian) . Ingredients fresh and uncomplicated, but put together with care. Would recommend, though not ideal if you don't eat seafood. Host was a bit moody but warmed up when he realised we had a sense of humor, and house white was excellent and local. Would recommend. No parking, had to park down the road and walk a bit. Bus stop opposite entrance.
