Contribuiți la feedbackWe visited this Chinese because as a change from the typical Italian food. The restaurant was lovely, the food was great and the price unbelievably cheap. We spoilt ourselves with lots of dishes and loved it all. Would definitely recommend this place for a refreshing change to the pasta and pizzas that are plentiful in La Spezia.
The food was ok and very reasonably priced but I would recommend you don't go as I have never had a waiter be more ignorant and sullen. He practically threw the plates on the table and only grunted at us never again
My husband and I have lived in Italy for 2 years and this is one of the better Chinese places we have been to. It is pretty average by American standards, but pretty good by Italian standards. Soups aren't great, spring roles are awesome, fried rice and fried rice noodles were good (especially if you get them spicey). Very, very cheap, and offers take out so that's a plus. Recommend if you need a break from Italian food.
The food was OK. It was rather bland and lacking in kick especially the KungPo beef which I would have expected to be much spicier. There was not much of a welcome but we are used to oriental efficiency in restaurants so were not unduly bothered. The locals seem to eat there which says something. Where this comes up trumps is price. We had egg fried rice for two and that was an ample portion , 3 main dishes and a bottle of chianti for under €25 (under £20!! I was going to score this quite low but because of the price it lifts it one point. So a score of 4 is classed as very good which certainly is the case on price but the food I would class as average and overall dining experience???hmmm
New management and new name for what was the old restaurant of viale italia under the arcades. not bad, you spend very little (to eat there or take take take away has the same price) and the dishes are delicious. only defect, no matter what each customer orders you risk eating alternatively and not with friends
