Novotel - La Rochelle

The hotel is well located, 10 minutes walk from the port or the beach. The hotel is quite comfortable, but aged, and would require a good young stroke. The outdoor swimming pool is not very large, and poorly maintained (sheets, insects...).The breakfast service leaves it to be desired: many people quite ineffective.

Modern frame with mirror games at the poolside, a whispered atmosphere a few steps from the docks where you go down: we do not regret our choice. especially since the reception is smiling, the service is attentive and the kitchen is of an excellent level, even original on some dishes. all for a relief by restopolitan

On the evening of our arrival at the novotel we opted for dinner on site. very warm and remote reception. the chosen dishes to know the whites of seiche at chorizo and roasted gambas with rice paella-style were just correct but without more. three small chorizo c pucks is very little and a few vegetables with no flavor especially for a dish at 19 euros! short it will be a missed experience but especially unique during our stay at the hotel!!!

A reduced card, a "day" formula has a reasonable price (17 euro input/plat or dish/dessert), a child menu has less than ten euros (the burger cooking has not been respected yet requested blue), a wine map where prices are high enough even if the quality is there, a single vegetarian dish, of the eight clear n°4 of very high quality. prices are in the average of the city (we took the coast, the eight and a burger as a comparison point), the service is fast, the products are of good quality, even if the coast was a bit steep.
