Kashmir - La Roche-sur-Yon

This is not the first time we have visited this restaurant, the last time we sat down and ate, and this time we took a takeaway. We had enough for 2 meals each (and large portions too) for 45€! Well worth the cost. We took it home, and heated it all in the microwave, but the dishes can be put into the oven to heat up too. The food is delicious as a previous review says, it is not hot spicy, but so tasty this is not a problem. (We can even eat a vindaloo without burning the mouth) The lentil curry is a must, we also took the butter chicken and a couple of other chicken dishes (sorry I can't remember their names), a lamb vindaloo and a vegetable curry. We were offered a nan, a samosa and goats cheese roll by the owner, which we thought was a very nice touch. All in all well worth the visit, and we will definitely be going again. I would definitely recommend going for a takeaway.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants we have found so far in France not that there are many! The food is tasty but not as hot as Brits are used to. If you want to eat from proper plates then get a takeaway and reheat it yourselves as the food is served in plastic trays and heated on site in the microwave. Even so it was a great find and next time we are in the area we'll go back. The owner is very welcoming too.

Very good Indian cuisine. Value for money at the top with some small portions as a gift. The welcome is always pleasant and warm. explanations to heat dishes and naans are accurate. We can also stay on the spot but we go there regularly for the catererer. the choice of dishes is quite wide. in short we were never disappointed by the kashmir.

You can eat on the spot but also buy takeaway dishes. a real delight be it the different chickens (spicy or raised) and curry vegetables. I come there frequently and I have never been disappointed.
