Le Quartier General du Vieux La Prairie

I love this little place. Cozy and cute. A must go.

I really enjoyed the ambiance of this quaint cafe! It was warm and inviting, with friendly and welcoming servers who greeted us with big smiles as we entered. The cafe had plenty of tables, a children's play area, and a patio out back. Although they offered a lunch and drink menu, we opted for just coffee. We ordered an espresso and cappuccino, both of which were fantastic. Overall, it's a wonderful cafe that is definitely worth a visit!

My family had some business to attend to in La Prairie, so we decided to stop by the Quartier General for lunch and a drink while we waited for the Historical Society building to open. Despite our lack of French skills, the staff was patient and understanding as we navigated the menu. The sandwiches we ordered, such as brie and ham on baguette, were delicious and fresh. We enjoyed the experience so much that we returned after our research to pick up some treats for the road, including a decadent brownie and fruity smoothies. The staff was kind and accommodating, despite us being out-of-towners with limited French knowledge. We were impressed with the service and food at Quartier General and hope to visit again if we find ourselves in La Prairie in the future.

I had lunch at Quartier Général today and enjoyed a delicious vegetable soup and salad with smoked turkey. It was a convenient stop for lunch between Montreal and New York. The staff was friendly and the prices were excellent. I will definitely be returning next time I am in the area!

This place is adorably quaint. The cappuccinos are amazing and the lunch menu is simple and very good. The service is quick and friendly. Everything is homemade and healthy. It's a kid friendly café with board games and chalk board. If you're looking for cozy, friendly, healthy and not too , this place is for you.
