Subway - La Porte

At 39 years old, I can confidently say that Subway has been a part of my diet since childhood. I have to admit that this is by far the best order I've ever placed. Hats off to the staff for their exceptional service during my pickup on October 8, 2022, at 2:00 PM. The sandwiches were made to perfection, and I can't help but think that the workers might be underappreciated, yet they continue to create delicious sandwiches. The atmosphere was clean and inviting, which made for a pleasant experience. A big thank you to the employees for their hard work on that day!

The restaurant meets the typical expectations you would have for a Subway. The food quality is satisfactory. I noticed that while many of the workers were not wearing masks—only about a quarter of them were—the lack of masks didn’t personally bother me, though it might concern some customers. On the positive side, all workers were wearing gloves. The location is in a strip mall, which provides plenty of parking space. However, the building itself is quite run-down and can be hard to spot from the road; you might easily overlook it if you weren't aware it was there. I wouldn't necessarily recommend dining in. I ordered a steak sandwich with pepper jack cheese, spinach, bell peppers, black pepper, and creamy Sriracha sauce on a cheese bread. Even with its shortcomings, it still felt like a healthier option compared to other fast food offerings around.

The customer service is outstanding, and the sandwiches are delicious. Alma is incredibly kind and welcoming, and she always prepares my sandwich exactly the way I like it.

They are very rude here (alma!) my bank was charged, but since she did not see it on the computer, she refused to give me my order, told me that I could pay for it again and the money would be returned from my bank. Metro really needs to increase it at this location and people who have good customer service skills and no employees who treat customers as if they were just annoying. I am very disappointed by the quality of service at this place.

Stopped here on my lunch break. The line was all the way to the door and the people just rocked it and got everyone out quick. No complaints. Definitely will go back.
