Cafe 1007 - La Porte

This café is located inside IU Health La Porte Hospital. They have a fantastic sauté bar, along with a salad and grain station next to the grill and pizza bar. There are plenty of vegan options available. I chose the sauté bar and had tofu and bulgur, which I was able to customize with my choice of sauces. Don’t forget to ask for the vegan pan to enhance your meal. It's a cafeteria-style setting with very reasonable prices; the sauté bar is just $5.95. The atmosphere is lovely as well!

I'm heading to the hospital for lunch, specifically to Cafe 1007 located within the local community hospital. I really enjoy discovering the daily surprises on their menu, and the delicious salads are packed with unique tubers and fruits like jicama and mango. They offer daily vegan specials, a variety of salads, and many sweet options. There are also soup stations for a fresh, hot meal, along with freshly baked whole grain bread and hearty muffins. It's a quick, easy, clean, and comfortable dining experience.
