Salsitas Grill - La Plata

My husband and I have lived in La Plata a very long time and the one thing we have missed having nearby is a good Mexican restuarant. Our experience last night was excellent! Helen, who served us our wonderful margarita’s, chips and salsa, guacamole and dinners was so sweet and so helpful. It was truly a wonderful and very good experience. We will definitely come back! True hidden gem. And let me not forget one of my biggest issues with Restuarant’s in general…..cleanliness. Everything I could see from the tables, floors, walls, plates, silverware, glasses, the menu’s, were clean(yey! . Everyone needs to try this place. True authentic Mexican cuisine.

My family and I ordered loaded nachos, quesabirrillas, tacos and flan for dessert. Everything was cooked fresh and delicious. Our waiter was new/in training and his service was excellent. He checked on us periodically and was very friendly.

Sitting outside service was slow to non-existent. However the food was great!

Excited to try a new place ! Outdoor seating was closed but it looked really nice ! Restaurant was clean and service was good . I will say the bowls which they serve the salsa and salad dressings were super tiny .. had to keep asking for more but that’s not a huge issue . I got the Chicken Sopas, they were good ! Everyone enjoyed the food but said it may need a little more flavor . Will be back again .
