Marie's Diner - La Plata

It is like walking into the restaurant version of the television series named Cheers.I felt like part of the family while interacting with the employees there. The banter and food was on point!

Let me just start by saying that the food at Marie’s diner is incredible. It’s been my favorite place to get food since I moved to the area about 2 years ago.However, the wait times are often insane. I’ve never been able to sit down and eat because there’s usually an hour or longer wait time (probably indicative of how good the food is). So my only option is to call and order or order online. Unfortunately, phone and online orders have been unavailable for several weeks now and it’s been disappointing. If you want some breakfast, you’d better get there 2 hours before you plan on eating.

Should have someone at the hostess stand that can speak clearer English. What I heard when the hostess said how long it would be for one person was 15 minutes, another person came in and had the same trouble understanding the hostess. When I looked at my phone it was 50 minutes.

My breakfast there this morning was absolutely delicious.

Best place in town. Best prices and the service is very friendly.
