Battered At The Bay - La Perouse

This local fish and chips shop is excellent. They offer generous portions of fresh, cooked-to-order seafood that is of good quality. I will definitely be returning.

Situated overlooking the stunning Frenchmans Bay and within walking distance of La Perouse Point, this restaurant is a must-visit for seafood lovers. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a beach theme running throughout the venue. The seating area provides a beautiful view of the bay. I started with a fantastic coffee that was strong and just how I like it. Every dish I tried was delicious, but the standouts were the fish and chips, BBQ platter, and mixed seafood platter. The seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant serves incredibly tasty and fresh fish and chips! As visitors from Melbourne, we often struggle to find good fish and chip spots in Sydney, but this place has truly exceeded our expectations. The location is beautiful, allowing diners to enjoy views of the beach while they eat.

What a great find! Awesome fish n chips. Fresh flaky fish with crispy light batter. Loved the crumbed giant calamari rings. Will definitely be back again soon.

My first time checking out this place which is looking much better than the previous fish and chip shop that used to be here. Calamari and chips $13) comes with 6 pieces of tender calamari that's prepared right without thankfully any stringy elastic membrane left intact. Good crispy chips. Will definitely need to revisit to try their fish. Parking on the weekends is a big challenge being such a popular area. Service was friendly and under pressure at the time. I thought the order was going to take a while but it came out a lot quicker than expected. Fair amount of seating on the balcony that overlooks towards the beach area. A well located spot for those craving a fish and chips fix.
