Went with friends from that area. Very good food and service. Will return for the vege burgers and fries!

Ate here with 4 other people. Food was ok with a large selection of choices. Restaurant was understaffed for the number of people eating. While our food came out without too much of wait, it took forever to get our bills and then once we received the bills it took at least 10 mins and reminders to the waitress in order for us to pay our bills! Not acceptable! The patio is nice and you get an alright view of the lake.

Joliment situé au coeur du village avec une grande terrasse avec vue sur la rivière, le Nikosi apporte une touche autochtone et relaxe à l'expérience. Nous nous y sommes arrêtés assez tard en milieu de journée, il n'y avait donc pas beaucoup de clients et il pleuvait, pas l'idéal pour profiter de la terrasse mais le burger de sanglier et les manchons de canards accompagnés d'une bonne bière de micro-brasserie nous ont rapidement fait oublier la grisaille. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

J'ai décidé d'amener la femme de ma vie faire un saut de bongee pour son anniversaire et la petite ville de Wakefield est tout pres. Nous avons choisi une coquette petite auberge et lors de notre arrivée, tardive, nous voulions grignoter un petit quelque chose...Et ... nous avons découvert ce petit restaurant/bistro.Le menu est simple mais tout est délicieux...Le **** de bison, les entree de saumon fumee, la salade de quinoa.... juste délicieux.Le choix de biere est bien.La sangria est délicieuse !Les serveuses sont très gentille, accommodante et le service parfait.Une agréable soirée !

This is a very popular bistro pub place to eat. This restaurant with a cheerfull staff, a patio you could enjoy on a summer's night. Known in the area for the Poutine! The menu had , Duck Confit, Fresh Prawns & Chorizo Sausages, Boar Sausage or Rack of Boar Rbs with Maple Syrup Sauce, Fresh Trout,Trout Fish Cakes, or Steak and Fries. Most of the meals were delicious. Especially the Poutine. However, my husband didn't like the Grilled Cheese with Wild Mushroom and Grilled Onions Sandwich - so be aware it was tastless and he couldn't eat it. Unfortunately, when he finally mentoned this to our server she still charged him for the meal and didn't offer him something else or take it off the bill.The restaurant was very busy the night , we were a our group of five. ThereI know there was a severe thunderstorm that night, the staff had to move everyone from the patio into the restaurant. Therefore the waitress never back to our table checked to see how our meals were. Unfortunately, we left the restaurant with a bad feeling.
