El zarape was one of my favorite restaurants in la paz. I visited el zarape several times during my stay! eating is delicious, especially the flan, and ernesto is the best! always had a great experience here!

Visited three times while in La Paz. Twice I had a delicious breakfast with what seemed to fresh squeezed orange juice and once for a late lunch of fish tacos that were very good with plenty of fish!. I had the same server all three...times and she was kind, attentive and courteous and helped me with my Spanish also. Go here! It needs to be discovered so it's still there when I go back! Oh, and as mentioned in other reviews, the view is outstanding!

Definitiw an authentic place to go to home style Mexican cuisine. they can order a la carte or fill in their plate at the extensive buffet. tamales, queensadillas made, suppensalat, pork cooked in a mango sauce, huh in mol, pasta, rice, killer refried...Bohnen and dessert are all there for choice. Besides, they have a complete menu and a full bar for choice.
