Sonora al Sur - La Parota

Since 2019, I've been back here to find the food as good as I remember. the service was attentive. the best part is the price that is cheaper for a meal than many other places. the biggest problem is parking.

This restaurant came highly recommended, previously known as Sonora Al Sur, now Sonoritas Grill. We ordered the cowboy which is a bone in rib eye and fries. The rib-eye was nothing but fat. The waiter could have cared less when we showed him the amount...of fat that was on our plate. There are too many good restaurants in the area, avoid this one.

Great place. You pick the cut of beef you want and they grill it for you. They bring it to your table with the sides you chose. My filet was done to perfection. Great staff also. Best meal we had in PVR.

The only thing I did was pick up two slices of flan to go. Thick, creamy, not overly sweet. Perfecto! Generous portion and so reasonably priced. Apparently, you can also purchase en entire round of flan. Next time...

We celebrated our daughters' birthdays with family and friends... great sides, loved the asparagus and mushrooms. Tortillas & salsas were also great! You pick your meat cut and pay super cheap prices and then it's cooked to your liking. Hand made tortillas were a hit too. Would of had a better time if it was air conditioned.
