Il Laghetto - La morra

Do not eat here. Setting : this is not an idyllic little lake but a dull fishpond. Lot 's of little beetles and other irritant insects where swarming around our table. At least they liked our food. Food : defrosted stuff prepared in a micro-wave. The cook who 's picture was in the menu was eating pizza 's on the terrace while we were there! So, who whas cooking?! The osteria , the fishclub 's headquarters, looked like a dirty garage.

The place is quite old and the atmosphere not very appealing even they were trying to get the service working. Food is below average compared to some other places in La Morra. They should propably reconstruct the place and utilize better the excellent ingredients you get in Piedmont on the kitchen side make better food).

This restaurant is in a totally idyllic setting, just a short walk from central La Morra. It is set on on a tranquil and beautiful small lake. Most of the tables are shaded by big willow trees, so even on a hot day you can sit outside in comfort and enjoy the view. The staff were very friendly, the food excellent and the wine list superb and very fairly priced. All in all, this was the best meal we had in Italy a memorable and wonderful experience!

Very nice place, relaxing, is close to the center but away from confusion, has a great parking thing not to be underestimated since we could not find a free and we are ociti from the country to find it, we eat very well at honest prices we will definitely return
