Store could use an upgrade in view of the location. I went to this deli for a sandwich prizes on the menu are outdated when I went to pay, I paid $16.58 for a sandwich and a small page!! You can get the same thing with Vons. Sandwich was good, but they should adjust their prices.

Use to love this sandwich with sides. Found it no longer comes with pages, is now $15, AND has no taste compared to before.

They mostly do not accept any change. I was banished and security called me to change... I've been there for years since I moved here! My favorite shop in the city and she enchants me in front of a shop full of people who change me in a brown paper bag and tell me I'm coming out and my change is zero and nonsense. I mean, threw it on me! I cried out embarrassment and asked her why she treated me like that. She called the security... I talked to the owner and he said it was okay if I come back, just come in the night shift if she's not there... Kevin is an amazing man and a clamp in the community! He's more than a hero! I thank him for his kind heart and youthful spirit! I'd hang out with him every day? He told me to just ask her if it was okay if I came back after two months! The work was a little troublesome about COVID-19 and I'm a waiter, so I don't always have a million dollars in cash... I always have the right amount of changes where the other workers don't have to count it because they know it's the right amount... I tried not to go there, unless it is urgent, and it is difficult, because apart from Ralphs, they are the nearest mini market for me! 15 miles to the next in Claremont on 7eleven... I must imagine that not everyone has your interest, but always forgiven and not take it to others! Be nice people of la Jolla, be kind! Have a blessed evening

Really rude and racist staff. It is not worth coming back at all. The lady at the checkout is neither helpful nor polite, she was very rude when I asked to see some products

1st time buying at this deli. Turkey and Avocado Sandwich was tasty, but not worth the price. I paid $13 for the sandwich only (no extra sides) and it was missing a component (sprouts). I had looked at previous yelp reviews/menu prices and am surprised by the cost. Maybe the price has gone up due to inflation?Definitely will not return as I can get the same sandwich for less at other nearby delis.
