Green Door Cafe - La Jolla

My first visit to this restaurant was enjoyable. I found it a bit strange that I was the only customer there at 7pm on a Saturday, considering the location. Nonetheless, the food was good. I tried the Bombay Burger on a pancake crust, and I really enjoyed it. The cheesecake was also excellent. I plan to return soon and try something different. Thank you for the great experience. I appreciate that you offer vegan options.

I would give this restaurant an overall rating of 3.5 stars. We decided to try the salad and sandwich/soup combo. While the food was tasty, I wouldn't necessarily describe it as amazing or exceptional. The outdoor patio is nice, and the corridor leading to the restaurant creates a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere for dining. The quality of the food is decent. In terms of value for money, I would rate it a 3 out of 5.

We ordered the Pesto Panini and the Full Tank sandwich, both of which came with a cup of Tomato Basil soup. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the service was fantastic. Green Door is a charming cafe with a great atmosphere. Thank you, Martin. Food: 5/5

Best vegan food in the world! Yum 10/10 recommend everything is so delicious I love the salads that come with most entrees too! Soooo good I cannot recommend this place enough. Also lovely people working here, great service, great food, great location. We were in La Jolla on vacation and came here to eat almost everyday and the food was amazing every time.

Martin and Green Door Cafe have a special place in my heart!The entire experience is lovely at this restaurant. They have creative menu items, a cozy indoor space and a charming courtyard. I highly recommend their desserts, pasta dish, and afternoon tea — you really can’t go wrong with the offering of vegan delights here!They also have live music on Sunday afternoons.Vegetarian options: Plentiful vegan options
