Contribuiți la feedbackStay in Jardin Tecina for 5 days. All local restaurants have vegan options, some better than others. The breakfast buffet in the main restaurant was excellent, as was the Jenseits Burger and the grilled vegetables at the barbecue area by the pool. Dinners at the main restaurant buffet also decent, although not as good as the breakfast offer. We have paid extra to eat in Tasca Fandango (Disappointing) and Club Laurel (Bäckverkostung Menu, pretty good). Also the “lunch to go” were good (what we had during hiking and for our home trip). Would recommend deffo if you are looking for a full board holiday that is good for vegans. Updated by previous review on 2021-11-04

The hotel offers a large buffet also with vegan options, some of which vary daily. For breakfast there are various plant milks and soy yoghurt as well. My favourite of the evening buffet was the canarian potatoes with two kinds of mojo sauce. Suggestion for improvement: For breakfast a hearty spread for the bread and in the evenings more vegan dessert options and a better labelling of the vegan food as most of the times only the allergens are listed and the labels are sometimes incorrect or missing. On request they were then simply quickly replaced. For the top notch and hassle free vegan evening you have another option for only 9,90 Euro surcharge for half board guests (early reservation at the reception required, the menu can also be viewed there): 1. The vegan tasting menu in the restaurant Tasca (Spanish tapas restaurant next to the gym) and 2. The menu Eco Finca with organic, self grown ingredients (in the two restaurants in Club Laurel down at the beach: El Laurel and Trattoria). Service and food have always been excellent here! Also for lunch there are always several vegan options available.
I have travelled to this hotel on a number of occasions and love their Vegan taster menus. These are not too expensive if you have booked half board. There are a number of different restaurants at the hotel and most have a Vegan option Taster Menu. Some pictures here from my visit last year. Quality of my photos aren't great so I've copied a couple from their website (easy to tell the difference). In addition to their taster menus they are also trying to become self-sufficient in growing their own fruit and vegetables at the Eco Finca Tecina. I did the walk around this area and it is quite impressive. My biggest plus for the hotel food is, however, the fresh papaya at breakfast every morning.
