PATAGONIA - La Dorada

My husband is from Argentina, I am Canadian and have eaten in Argentine restaurants around the world, and travel to Argentina often. We both have the Bife de chorizo and it was excellent. The salad was delicious. I am so grateful that we found this restaurant on the last day of our time in Usaquen, because I don't think we would have eaten somewhere else in this area, we would have known it before! Very good steak.

A real Argentinean place with great food especially with great meat and empanadas Argentinas.

This place has a large ambience, is just minutes from the central square with cathedral, congress and a minute from the famous Teatro Colon. Provolone melted cheese is recommended for a starter, and steaks and very good, and as thick as they are n Argentina. You have on the small espresso machine that was out of order during our visit.

A must-try for lunch or dinner in Usaquen. Atmosphere makes me think I was back in a neighborhood restaurant in Buenos Aires. The menu has been expanded over the last decade but still is an uncomplicated and authentic take on Argentine parrillas. Everything we've tried on the menu has been delicious. Service is friendly and adequate.

La carta es variada, la carne es muy buena, el ambiente es acogedor pero el servicio es lento y mediocre. Solo 2 meseros a la 1 pm y sencillamente no daban abasto. Varias órdenes tuvieron que repetirse y hasta cancelar un complemento que nunca llegó a tiempo con el plato principal.
